I can provide a multitude of services for your stringed instrument.
As basic as a string change to a reuild and everything in between.
Set up work performed on all instruments to include guitars, banjos, mandolins, basses, ukeleles, violins.
Normally to include nut, saddle, and neck adjustments.
Fret work is available for all fretted instruments. Due to the varying extent of work frets may require, there is a wide price range for fret work.
Bone nut and saddles will improve the tone and sustain on most all acoustic guitars. I have done literally hundreds of bone upgrades and assure you of a hand crafted work of art.
Custom pickguards can be fashioned for almost any instrument.
Single ply or multi ply pickguard material is available. Proper bevelling is a must with me!
Can also do bound pickguards for arch top guitars and mandolins
That is not an inexpensive job however.
Electric and pickup installation is also available. I have installed pickups in acoustic instruments of all types as well as countless custom wiring configurations on electric instruments.
Finish work is still yet another service I can provide. Anything from spot touch up to complete refinish can be done. There are a number of different finish materials. I do not use all however at this time.
Headstock reglues are another relatively common repair, especially on mahogany necks. Depending on the break, many reglues are barely noticable.
